~went back to Germany after his teaching job was done

~in middle school she was a straight A student
~in her 7th grade yr she grew attached to her substitute teacher
~she was in love with him but at the time she didn't know it, she just thought he was such a nice guy
~she thought his accent was a bit funny but also thought he had a delicate face
~it wasn't until the end of that year, when he left to go back to Germany, that she realized what her feelings for him had been
~after Niklaus went back to Germany, Michiru was a bit sad that she didn't get the chance to talk to him more

~it made her happy to know that she had another chance to spend time with him again
~remembering her feelings that she had in middle school, she decided that he had to know how she felt

~she confessed her feelings to him at her graduation but was sadly rejected due to complications
~after another yr she was again reunited with Niklaus, and he told her the truth
~although their relationship was disapproved by both of their families, they were married the next year
